  • Supports the Overhead Finance Manager in analysis of variances of actual costs to budgets/targets

Skills/Education Required

The successful candidate is preferred to have 2 – 3 years of experience in Freight Payables, SAP, Cass Information System’s CassPort tool, as well as use of MicroSoft Office Suite (Outlook and Excel). Key Responsibilities may include:

Job Description

The Rheon Line Operator Needed for ALL SHIFTS

 

-Temporary Position

 

Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, all processing activities conducted at the Rheon Line.

 

-Document line checks accurately and timely.

 

Ÿ         Coordinate, organize, and assign subordinates work tasks.

 

·         Plan, direct, organize, and coordinate daily activities at the Rheon Line.

 

Ÿ         Verify floor batch time to assure dough is acceptable for forming units

 

Ÿ         Verify texture of dough to assure product units will develop through the process system as expected.

 

Ÿ         Set and verify that the process line control parameters are to specifications.

 

Ÿ         Continually monitor controls to ensure that product is to specifications.

 

Ÿ         Assure that flour dusters are maintained filled at all times.

 

Ÿ         Monitor number of batch containers on floor to be processed to assure they do not exceed the line capacity.

 

Ÿ         Continually monitor line subordinates to ensure they are performing job tasks to quality specifications and standards.

 

Ÿ         Verify that targeted units per proofer plates are to target specifications.

 

Ÿ         Assure that mechanical line moving parts are functioning as expected. Report any mal-functioning or potential mechanical failures to supervisor.

 

Ÿ         Assure that the Rheon Line, workstations, are maintained organize and safe for working.

 

Ÿ         Assure that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) are adhered to by employees.

 

Ÿ         Continually communicate with Lead Baker on dough conditions and quantity.

 

Ÿ         Record Quality Control checks accurately and timely

 

Ÿ         Continually weigh units to ensure product is within weight specifications.

 

Ÿ         Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

 

 

-Basic knowledge of

GMP’s and Lockout/Tagout Procedures.

Ÿ Ability to understand and operate Rheon Line process controls panels and performs accurate adjustments when necessary.

Skills/Education Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Good Communication Skills

Packaging Operator

Job Description

ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE - TEMPORARY POSITION

RESPONSIBILE FOR:
• Packs production units in cases, according to case pack specifications.
• Ensures product units being packed are to quality and product specifications, including color, weight, height, length, appearance, and core temperature.
• Inserts master case liner, baking instructions, and retail bags as needed in formed cases.
• Ensures that finished cases have been accurately coded and identified.
• Places finished cases on pallets properly and labels pallets correctly.
• Records packaging documents accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Prepares box cartons with accurate labels for packaged products, and/or ensures that box labeler is accurately labeling cases.
• Operates various packaging equipment, which may include but is not limited to metal detectors, product counters, case erector/bag inserters, conveyors, box labelers, box tapers, pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, and bag counters.
• Places palletized cases in the holding freezer.
• Alerts Packaging Foreman, Packaging Lead or Production Supervisor when metal detector is kicking off product units, or when other machinery is not functioning properly.
• Maintains sufficient materials for the Packaging Department, including but not limited to pallets, box cartons, box carton tape, master case inserts, baking instructions, pallet tags, correct retail bags, and correct box labels.
• May assist in collating retail bags according to case counts based on the production schedules.
• Completes duties in accordance with quality assurance, GMPs (good manufacturing practices), safety and other company programs and procedures, and in accordance with government codes and regulations.
• Maintains clean, organized and safe work area, including wiping and washing equipment, tools, containers and dollies; sweeping and mopping floors; and trash removal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills/Education Required

 
-High School Diploma or Equivalent
-Previous experience in an automated or semi-automated packing environment preferred.
-Forklift certification preferred.
-Good Communication Skills

Duties and Responsibilities:
To maintain the facility in hygienically clean, sanitary and tidy condition

• To utilize their experience, skill, and training to keep the production, warehouse, packing, general staff, and office areas clean and tidy during each shift.
• Responsible for washing floors, drains, walls, ceilings, and other areas according to a specific schedule or as required.
• Responsible for removing trash from office, staff, and production areas.
• Responsible for removing and compacting waste cardboard from the packing area.
• Responsible for detail cleaning of parts of the production lines during down-days.
• Responsible for continuous maintenance of the floor areas using a floor washer.
• Responsible for maintaining cleaning equipment, buckets, hoses, vacuums, etc, in clean and hygienic condition.
• Assists in the preparation of the facility in advance of company visits and audits.

Skills/Education Required

Education/Skills:
-High School Diploma or Equivalent

-Bi-Lingual English / Spanish Preferred

**Previous Experience in baking environment beneficial, not essential.
